I'm going to KICK my inertia to the curb!

(this is me kicking during Kama Kata at my Advanced pre-Black Belt test last month. I didn't know I could kick that high...)
Quilting is becoming an increasingly important and integral part of my life. My creative outlet changes how I view the world around me, influences the activities I pursue with my family, and introduces me to new people whose life paths wouldn't ordinarily intersect mine. My life is much like my favorite types of quilts - scrappy and unconventional, full of interest and surprises, and with an underlying current of making do (and making something beautiful!) with what I have.

Wow! That's an amazing kick! Maybe the Rockettes will be calling you! :) Being a black belt is so awesome and such a great example for your boys. It's ok to have a bit of inerita every now and then--every working mother of young kids deserves it.
Fantastic!! Great kick!!
Have fun catching up on some sewing this weekend!
I feel exactly the same way Erin . However since I dont do karate - I'll probably veg out this weekend and get nothing done!
Good luck with your crafting. I have complete faith that you'll kick that inertia to the kerb.
Just reading your schedule wears me out! I'm glad I'm your friend - I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that kick. I hope you get to relax a little this weekend and get the sewing in you have planned.
Man I can not wait to get back to karate when my foot heals. That's a great looking kick.
Just don't kick the quilting habit!
